Hi!
I found the bug and fixed it in revision 1258. Unless there was  
something that I missed, the bug affected asynchronous connections  
when the server had SSL capability, unless a connection delegate  
returned a value specifying not to use SSL. Our tests passed on my  
laptop, and if our buildbot agrees, the new version should become  
available at http://basetenframework.org/autobuilds/
