While Tuukka's advice with regards to getting the current BaseTen
version working is good, this state of affairs generally is not. We
have not designed BaseTen Assistant to be an end-user utility, and the
same obviously goes for any command-line tool intended for the same
tasks.
Having BaseTen-using applications require non-standard backup/recovery
steps was not an intended consequence of the 1.6 changes, and we're
going to see whether we can retain 1.6's performance and reliability
improvements without this extra burden on administrators.
